Our northern lights chase typically lasts between 6 and 8 hours, depending on the aurora activity and weather conditions. We sometimes stay out longer if the sky is active, or return earlier when conditions are poor.

We supply thermal suits (on request) to keep you warm, but you should dress in layers with wool or thermal underwear, a warm mid‑layer and woollen socks. Waterproof boots, hat and gloves are essential. Additional clothing can be rented from local outfitters if needed.

Weather in northern Norway can be unpredictable. If Tromsø is cloudy we drive to areas with clearer skies; sometimes we travel far out of town to find a break in the clouds. In the rare case that conditions are too poor, we may need to postpone or cancel the tour. You will always be contacted via the phone number and e‑mail you provide.

No tour operator can guarantee the aurora, as it is a natural phenomenon beyond our control. We follow the latest forecasts to maximise your chances, and if you don´t see the lights you´ll reveice a generous discount on your next tour with us.

Yes. You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before departure. For cancellations within 48 hours, a partial refund may apply. If you don´t show up at the agreed time, the booking fee is not refundable.

Absolutely! Your guide takes professinal photos during the tour and shares them with you via e-mail afterwards. We also provide tripods and can assist you with camera settings so you can capture your own memories.
