Born and raised in Northern Norway and with Sámi roots, Tor Jonny has over a decade of guiding experience and a deep understanding of the Arctic landscape. With strong expertise in Northern Lights guiding, he is passionate about creating personal, memorable experiences and sharing the very best of the north with his guests.
Per Eivind
Guide
Per Eivind combines extensive mountain knowledge with a genuine passion for the Norwegian outdoors. He is dedicated to creating safe, memorable and engaging mountain experiences, while his positive attitude and enthusiasm help create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
Our story
Arctic Aurora Tours was started by two friends with different backgrounds but the same love for Northern Norway. One of us comes from a Sami family with long traditions in the area; the other grew up on a farm just outside Tromsø. We have followed the aurora since childhood and love to share this experience with visitors from all over the world.
After several years as guides for other companies, we decided to start our own company to offer smaller and more personal tours. We take pride in showcasing both the nature and culture of the region, while taking care of the environment and respecting local traditions.
